Ben wears a few hats at 7IM. He’s been a senior member of the Investment team for over 15 years, focusing on equity allocations – looking at which markets and sectors could offer opportunities, and where risks might sit.

A big part of Ben’s role is helping bring our investment thinking to life for clients. He spends a lot of time talking about markets – which suits him, as he genuinely loves talking to people about investing! We’re responsible for our clients’ life savings, and it’s crucial that we don’t just manage the money, we connect them to it.

Ben also plays a role in shaping 7IM’s views on wider industry topics – from pensions and savings habits to financial education.

His main area of interest is behavioural economics. He’s as interested in how people think and make decisions as he is in the numbers behind them. Ben speaks his mind in plain English – if you turn on LBC radio most evenings, you’ll hear him discussing the facts (and myths) of the financial world with Chris Justham.
Ben was born and raised in London and still lives there today. He relishes showing people the city’s centuries of history on walk. If you like Roman history, you’ll be in good hands!
